Martin Gnass

Martin is a strategically thinking IT executive with a strong business focus and a total of 25 years of management experience. He first built up his IT expertise as an IT consultant and project manager in well-known IT consulting companies before continuing his career as an IT manager on the user side. Here he worked for 15 years as CIO at a global container liner shipping company.
Today he works as an IT advisor, IT management consultant and interim manager.

MISSION

As veteran IT executive in global organizations, Martin has a proven track record of leading and aligning IT teams with an organization’s strategic and tactical goals.

Among other things, he successfully completed the post-merger IT integration of four global mergers. This enabled the operative business of the merged companies to be transferred to a uniform IT platform and business process model in a very short time; as the basis for realizing the expected business synergies in a timely manner.

Martin has mastered the tools to further develop IT organizations into powerful and agile innovation partners, and thus make the IT contribution to the successful digital transformation of logistics companies.
